Ron Cooper is an American artist born July 24th, 1943 in New York City. He is considered as one of the pioneering Light and Space artists; so called because he broke beyond the bounds of physical objects and experimented with manipulating light and space. His vocabulary is considered Minimalist and often works in materials like glass panels, resin and fibreglass, along with colored fluorescent light. He is currently based in Los Angeles, California.
